NAME. Molly Hayes Hernandez

ABILITIES. Gibborim Rock Enhancement: Molly developed superhuman abilities, a result of coming in contact with a mysterious rock during her childhood. Though she started manifesting physical characteristics of this change immediately after the explosion that killed her parents, her powers did not start to develop until she reached puberty.

• Enhanced Strength: Molly has demonstrated the power to easily crush a metal bench in her hands, lift a large SUV off of the ground, push a Volkswagon bus and another SUV for a considerable distance, rip a toilet that had been bolted to the floor up into the air, wrench a set of bars in a public bathroom from the windows, and push open a large set of locked wood and concrete doors. In the past, Molly became very exhausted and sleepy after using her powers, though this reduced given practice with her powers, unless she completely overexerts herself.
• Bioluminescence: When Molly’s strength increases, her eyes glow with bright golden-orange ring around her irises.
• Enhanced Durability: Molly was durable enough to withstand an energy blast from Jonah, multiple blows from Tina Minoru, being hurled several meters with the Staff of One's power and even hits of superhuman strength from Topher, all without any injuries. She also was able to resist the Taser used by AWOL, who compared her durability to a grizzly bear. She even survived getting struck by lightning in a sacrifice spell that Morgan le Fay and the other witches of Coven performed on her.

HISTORY:

• The explosion that killed her parents when Molly was 4 years old is the defining moment of Molly’s life. Even in the profound loss, Molly gained a second family when her parents’ best friends the Yorkes adopted her. The Gibborim stones gave her her powers and most importantly, as far as Molly is concerned, she gained a big sister.
• When Molly was 14 years old, her powers began to manifest, at first accompanied by stomach pain she thought was menstrual cramps. Molly embraced her powers immediately and has always been determined to use them for good. Her only regret is that they kept her from earning a spot on the dance team. Molly used to fall asleep after exerting her powers, but over the years, she has been able to gain control and only feels that level of fatigue if she overexerts herself.
• Molly still feels guilt over her cousin Graciela’s senseless death.
• Molly’s favorite memory of her time at the Hostel is when the rest of the Runaways threw her a Quincenera, even thought that was the night that Chase betrayed them and returned to his parents. Even though she still believes that he was being a coward, Molly found it easy to forgive him when he returned.
• It is still an incredible source of embarrassment to Molly that she was mind controlled by a cell phone created by the world’s lamest sorceress. A. cell. phone. LAME! She likes Nico, but besides her, Molly could do with never meeting another Goth girl in her life.

PERSONALITY

Molly is an optimist by nature and always sees the best in people, especially her friends. Because of this, she can sometimes be too trusting. She believes that she should use her powers for good, and her goal is to be a much cuter Luke Cage. She is brave and will always put herself in harm’s way for her family.

She makes friends easily, befriending both Topher and Xavin easily, and feels deeply. She loves dancing, junk food, and anything pink and still has her childhood stuffed toys. She believes her sister Gert is the best person she knows. Actually, Chase is up there on the list too, because he’s the only reason she gets to still have Gert around.
